Still, even if we wind up sacrificing psolms in the process, it's more than worth it if we can manage to kill both Kime AND infidel. I say go for it.

I think you're pushing your list a little too hard, spool. You need to nudge the village in the wrong direction, not lead them by the nose. If you're too obvious about advocating certain bandwagons and it actually works, they're going to turn on you when those people come up green. There was a reason that I mentioned Vagrant's name with yours when I voted for Mill - just to try and spread out the heat a little for the inevitable backlash.
Also, we all need to try not to agree with each other much in thread. We want as few connections as possible, so that when we lose one mafia member it doesn't start a logical chain reaction.

I think I've said enough for a while... I'm not pushing my theory any harder. Hopefully vagrant comes in and takes the torch, or somebody else likes my reasoning enough to be the main driver.
Edit: yeah, cross posted with you. I think you're dead right and I need to let my posts get buried in the thread under whatever noise happens.
I'm a bit toxic for a couple of pages I think.

No worries. I don't think you've been too bad about it, but just wanted to make sure you didn't dig too big of a hole for yourself.

one of the ways i play as mafia is to basically forget about who is my team in the main thread. play as if you know nothing. clear your mind.
agree with people you agree with, disagree with people you disagree with. except for the fact that most of the time, your conclusions will be wrong. thats the trick.
getting people to believe your theories that lead to the wrong place.
it requires a light touch. spool, i just want you to know, if you dont calm down, im going to have to start being suspicious of you. its in my playstyle as a villager and i think people will notice if i dont.

My idea is to try to think as village, as much as possible, whenever interacting with them.
Danger to that is accidentally shooting us in the foot!
May I say TRV you are definitely pulling off identical behavior to the last couple of phallas where you were village.

psolms you've been having to play defense for the whole game so far - I think if I cool it entirely, and stick to my pattern of substance in the morning without arguing further for my votes, you won't have to take an opposing position.

That said, it's not exactly a bad thing if we're arguing with each other a little bit in thread, so long as there isn't much bandwagon action that comes out of it.

I'm playing like a villager; nobody here is particularly suspicious in my book.
I think we've managed to not vote for each other very much if at all, a tactic I approve of for this game.

yeah we're sitting pretty right now.
i wonder if its in our interests to keep me in kime's good graces for one more night?
i mean, we have a likely clear shot at infy, possibly a clear shot at both of them, but more then likely, taking that shot will implicate me.
if we wait one more night, we run the risk of letting them further solidify the network, but the potential benefit is that i might get in the inside track.
im just not sure... im perfectly content to shoot infy and kime tonight and claim role block, but i think that as soon as that happens i will lose my ticket to the inner circle forever and we wont get any more details.
heres a thought: the vig killed one of the masons, right? what if that was an intentional hit to verify the other one? could be a clever way to get a seer on the mason pair without using a seer...

I think that at the very least the Ketbra hit was called in private and verified the vig for kime's network. I could see Kime also using that to mercilessly kill one of a masoned pair that came to him, and telling the other half "Welp. At least you're confirmed."

We can't allow an extra day for both of those two to assemble the network. If we have a clear shot, at least one of them needs to die tonight, and we have to just take the risk that you get exposed, IMO.
There's no real tie between you and the rest of us, so no offense psolms but I'd happily give you up if it means we can take down two publicly-seered phalla veterans who are building a network to stop us.
